What kind of game is Dressmaker?
Dressmaker is a cozy crafting simulation inspired by real dressmaking. You choose fabric, cut patterns, sew pieces together and decorate dresses for a town of clients. The Steam release also lets you sell your own off-the-rack designs.
Is this the same as the full Steam game?
The browser edition and the Steam release may contain different features and commissions. This play window uses a separately hosted browser build; the full commercial release is available through the Steam link.
Can I play on Mac?
The Steam release lists macOS support, with Apple M1, 8 GB RAM and 1 GB storage as its minimum requirements. See our Mac guide for the official requirements and the distinction between the prototype and the full release.
Is Dressmaker on Nintendo Switch?
The developers mentioned plans for a Switch port in their launch announcement. Our sources do not establish a confirmed release date or an available Switch edition. See the Switch page for the source and status.
Will the browser game save my progress?
Save behavior has not been verified across browsers for this hosted build. Use any save controls provided inside the game, and check your progress before closing the window. Do not assume Steam Cloud applies to browser play.
